Good Samaritan Hospital Arthritis and Joint Replacement At the Good Samaritan Hospital Arthritis and Joint Replacement Center, we seek to restore the quality of life for people who suffer from the debilitating joint pain, swelling and/or inflammation associated with arthritis and other diseases. Unlike other hospitals, we offer a dedicated, comprehensive program that incorporates the latest medical research and technology and the highest standard of practice in the treatment of arthritis patients. If you or a loved one suffer from joint pain, we encourage you to contact us at 559-2180 or attend one of our free educational seminars regarding treatment options.
Today, both surgical and non-surgical methods are used in the treatment of arthritis. Non-surgical treatments may include conventional arthritis medications, new advances in medical treatment, weight loss, and physical therapy to help strengthen muscles and facilitate joint movement. However, severely damaged hips and knees may need to be surgically replaced. If you elect to have joint replacement surgery, you should choose a surgeon and a hospital with an established protocol and success record for joint replacement. At Good Samaritan Hospital's Arthritis and Joint Replacement Center, we perform more than 400 major joint replacements each year and follow strict guidelines for both pre- and postoperative care. We are dedicated to providing excellent, comprehensive care to all of our patients. Our goal is to eliminate your joint pain and improve your quality of life. The Good Samaritan program succeeds because it is designed to address each phase of the treatment process - from preoperative education and preparation to postoperative therapy and monitoring. At Good Samaritan, our dedicated Arthritis and Joint Replacement Steering Committee, led by a fellowship-trained arthritis and joint replacement surgeon skilled in the latest techniques and practices in joint replacement, will ensure that your experience at our hospital is smooth and seamless.
