Community Giving and Scholarships

Community Giving

Good Samaritan Hospital's Community Giving Program has contributed more than $400,000 to support organizations that enhance the health and well being of the people in our community and that support education in healthcare careers.  The Community Giving Program is not currently accepting applications for funding.

Scholarships

To encourage more people to pursue rewarding and in-demand healthcare careers, Good Samaritan Hospital and our sister hospital Regional Medical Center of San Jose work directly with local college nursing programs to provide scholarships to students and to underwrite additional faculty positions. Through the Hospital Council of Northern and Central California, Good Samaritan supports programs educating Clinical Lab Scientists. The hospital does not make scholarship grants to individuals.

Our parent company, HCA, offers scholarships to children of employees who are pursuing vocational, college or graduate education programs directly related to healthcare careers.
